St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Kyiv. Actually, this is a reconstruction of the temple of Kyivan Rus times, destroyed by the Soviet authorities. The correct name of Ukraine’s capital has been fixed in the document of UNESCO, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The session to the Committee on All European Sponsorship UNESCO has agreed on the English name of Ukrainian historical building inscribed on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
