On March 9th, Go_A band released the new version of their song ‘Shum’. The band will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with this song. The melody and words of the new version were slightly changed. Some phrases were completely removed. Besides, to comply with the rules of the competition, the track was shortened to three minutes.
The video was shot in the forest and near the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. The song 'Shum' is inspired by a ritual folk song that was performed in spring and involved a game.
The band was supposed to perform at Eurovision in 2020 with the song 'Solovey', but the competition was canceled due to the pandemic.
