The Role Models doll series was launched in March 2018 for the 60th anniversary of Barbie and International Women's Day. In this way, the company honors successful women from all over the world and seeks to inspire more girls to follow. Each year, Mattel experts select several prominent figures from different continents who have succeeded in their field. Olympic champion Olha Harlan was the first to represent Ukraine in the Role Models series.
