Ukrainian researchers studying Antarctica have authored the "Encyclopedia of the World's Biomes" section, which will be published in June 2020. In it, the best experts in the world talk about ecosystems. This is reported by UATV with reference to the press service of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Scientists from the National Antarctic Science Center of the Ministry of Education and Science Ivan Parnikoza and Irina Kozeretska wrote in their section about the Antarctic terrestrial ecosystems.
“We are proud that, from all over the world scientific community, the publishers of the NAS of Ukraine have been entrusted with publishing a description of the Antarctic land biomes. It is their article that will continue to be the primary source of information for where polar ecologists from any country will start their search, ”commented Yevgen Dyky, Head of the National Antarctic Science Center of the Ministry of Education and Science. He says that this is a wonderful indicator that Ukrainian science is envolved in the global process of learning the nature of our planet.
