This year the 350th anniversary of the death of Dutch artistic genius Rembrandt van Rhine (1606 - 1669) is commemorated. The Khanenko Museum joins the commemoration by presenting the Rembrandt TM project which will take place in the Dutch Exhibition Hall from 13 October till 15 December.
The project presents authentic etchings of the master, paintings of his contemporaries and followers, as well as reproductive engravings created in the 18th and 19th centuries on the most famous paintings of the artist. The project's curators drew on the results of a comprehensive study of a series of paintings and etchings from the museum's collection, which traditionally attributed to Rembrandt himself.
