On October 18, the ARTAREA art space will open a large scale project of the Ukrainian genius of modern times, Ivan Marchuk. Within the project you will see 100 unknown works, including painting, graphics and plastic. For the first time in history, the ARTAREA digital gallery will "enliven" artist paintings in video-art format.
Ivan Marchuk will personally conduct several author's excursions and a master class in painting. The artist stated that this would be his last exhibition in Kyiv.
Ivan Marchuk is the only Ukrainian included in the list of "100 outstanding geniuses of the present" by the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph. He can boast of 5000 works, 150 monographs and 50 collective exhibitions. The unique technique of performing his paintings is striking.
