During the official closing of the summer season, the opening of the first Kyiv winter transportation season was announced. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the Polar Express in Syretsky Park will run from December 19 to January 19.
On October 6, the 66th season of training and production practice on the updated Kyiv Children's Railway was closed. Over 80,000 passengers were transported during the season.
Children railway is a narrow-gauge line with real trains and stations, where children can work as machinists, train-drivers, conductors and so forth. Kyiv Children's Railway is located in the Syretsky Park, a cozy and beautiful place of the city. The length of the railway is 2.8 km. It was built in 1953.
