On November 21-23 and 29 at the Jazz Weekend festival in the Freedom Hall cultural center, world jazz stars such as Americans The Baylor Project, Incognito project, Icelanders Mezzoforte, producer Bob James and others will perform.
Jazz Weekend is a new name with 15 years of history. The founder and ideologist of the new festival format was Oleksandr Sery, president of the DoDzh jazz festival, who began to introduce Ukrainians to the world's largest jazz names from the very beginning and brought dozens of young Ukrainian musicians to the big stage.
The headquarters of the festival format will be the updated Freedom Hall cultural center, a platform on which big jazz now lives next to the world theater, famous dance groups, academic musicians, and crazy experimental shows. On the new stage, not only musicians who have lived for several decades on top of the jazz Olympus will perform, but also new American stars, Grammy nominees.
