The National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine, known as Pyrohiv or Pirogovo, invites everyone to PumkinFest 2019 (Ukrainian: HarbuzFest), which will be held on October 12-13. Pumpkin has long been known not only in Ukraine but around the world. The number of products that can be obtained from it, including oil and seeds, is increasing. Pumkin is very useful and tasty, rich in vitamins. In the past, pumpkin played a special role in rituals. There were songs about pumpkins. Everyone knows the Ukrainian tradition of giving pumpkins. When the girl did not want to get married, the potential groom got a pumpkin.
The event will be interesting for both children and adults. The program will include various competitions and fun, children's zone, a fair of craftsmen, Ukrainian folk songs and dances; competitions of strong men and beautiful women.
