Thinking what to see and do in Kyiv? Do you want to exeperience local life? This weekend, June 8 and 9, a big Kyiv Contract Fair, which popularizes folk art, crafts and traditional Ukrainian cuisine, takes place at Kontraktova Square, according to BigKiev.
On these days the historical part of the capital has become a place where everyone can feel the spirit of the Ukrainian fair, get quality products from Ukrainian manufacturers, relax, have fun and try delicacies from the best producers of street food.
A wide range of food and non-food items, accessories, décor, other exclusive offers from Ukrainian garment manufacturers and handmade masters will be offered to the guests of the fair. Gastronomic goods, as well as dishes from culinary chefs, will be presented in the area of food courts and gastronomy.
On the alley of master classes you can do pottery, body art, embroidery, undergo educational master classes. Performances of musical bands, literary readings, theatrical performances, and film shows take place on the art scene.
There are also workshops, amusement rides, animators and fun activities for children.
The entrance is free. The fair is open from 10:00 to 22:00.
