Thinking what to see and do in Kyiv? The International Watercolor Miniature Festival «Miniwatercolor Kyiv» is taking place for the second time in Ukraine’s capital, and the number of participants is constantly increasing, according to VechirniyKyiv.
This year, visitors will see an exposition of works from more than 150 participants from 22 countries of the world. These are watercolor artists from Ukraine, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Germany, Egypt, Italy, Latvia, Moldova, Slovakia, Hungary, Spain, Bangladesh, the USA and Canada, Georgia, India, Iceland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Peru, Nepal, Poland, Romania, Portugal, Thailand and Turkey. The festival was launched to popularize the watercolor as a meeting place for artists and students, collectors and patrons, art material producers and anyone interested in art.
The program of the festival includes demo and master classes of experienced watercolors masters. It is an exchange of experience and the possibility of professional communication. All interested persons are invited together with the participants of the festival to take part in creative plenaries, which will take place in the picturesque corners of Kyiv. We hope that all foreign guests will be fascinated by our city and will be able to share their impressions with watercolors made on the charming streets of Kyiv.
