The development of electric transport is investment in the substitution of oilproducts in Ukraine. The head of the State Energy Efectiveness Serhiy Savchuk said about it at the 4th International Exhibition of Hybrid and Electric Cars PLUG-IN UKRAINE. The exhibition was opened on 24 May on the territory of ACCO International in Kyiv.
The best electric cars, popular in Ukraine as well as around the world, are showed at the exhibition. There, you can see Tesla, BMW, Jaguar, Honda and others.
The global market of electric and hybrid cars. In 2010 only a few thousands of electric cars were sold, but in 2018 about 2 million of such eco-friendly cars were sold. According to Bloomberg, around 10 million cars are expected to be sold per year, in 2025.
“Ukraine also follows this trend. In 2015, only 500 electric cars could be found in Ukraine, but in May 2019 the quantity makes up 12,600 cars ", Serhiy Savchuk mentioned.
